There is only One True God, revealed in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (commonly known as the Trinity). The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent “I AM,” the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind.
Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10–11; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22
Holy Spirit
Holy Spirit is the third person of the Holy Trinity and shares the same honor and position as the Father and the Son. Baptism in the Holy Spirit, which should be earnestly sought by every believer, provides a person with the enduement of power for life and service.
Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4, 8
Jesus
The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God and is honored equally with the Father. Based on the Scriptures, we believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, substitutionary work on the cross, bodily resurrection, and exaltation to the right hand of God.
Man was created good and upright in the image of God. However, through voluntary transgression, man fell from grace, resulting in both physical and spiritual death — separation from God.
Genesis 1:26–27; Genesis 3:6; Romans 5:12–19
Salvation
Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God. Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ, resulting in justification and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
Luke 24:47; John 3:3; Romans 10:13–15; Titus 3:5–7
The Evidence Of Salvation
The inward evidence of salvation is the witness of the Spirit. The outward evidence is a life of holiness, obedience, and righteousness.
Romans 8:16; Ephesians 4:24; Titus 2:12
Bible
The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired by God. They are the authoritative rule of faith and conduct for every believer.
2 Timothy 3:15–17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21
Spiritual Gifts And Healing
Healing is an integral part of the gospel and is available to all believers through Christ’s atonement. The Holy Spirit distributes spiritual gifts to empower and equip the Church.
Isaiah 53:4–5; James 5:14–16; 1 Corinthians 12–14
Lifestyle Of A Believer
A believer’s life should reflect Christ’s character and be marked by separation from evil and dedication to God.
Romans 12:1–2; 1 Peter 1:15–16
The Church And Its Ministry
The Church is Christ’s body on earth. We are called to worship, evangelize, disciple, and serve. Every believer plays a vital role in fulfilling the Great Commission.
Matthew 28:18–20; Ephesians 4:11–16
End Times
Jesus will return to rapture His Church. The dead in Christ will rise first, and those alive will be caught up to meet Him. Following His return, Christ will reign for 1,000 years and judge the world in righteousness.
Matthew 28:18–20; Ephesians 4:11–16
Those who believe in Christ will enjoy eternity with Him in a new heaven and new earth. Those who reject Him will face eternal separation. Our blessed hope is the promise of His return and the glory that awaits those who love Him.
Living Our Beliefs Daily
At Destiny Church, what we believe shapes how we live. Our theology is not just something we profess — it’s something we walk out in worship, service, discipleship, and community.
We invite you to stand with us in faith, walk with us in purpose, and grow in our relationship with God.
“Your life is not an accident. You have a destiny.”
